The Ulteem website has been created by meetic - the European leaders in online dating through psychological matching.
We started Ulteem to offer people looking for a long-term relationship a new way of meeting people. We match our members by using psychological profiling - so you're getting it right from from the very beginning.
The Ulteem philosophy
We believe that the best possible foundation for a relationship is when you're know who you are, know what you want of a partner, know what you have in common. At Ulteem, we help you get that knowledge - then use it to find the right person and build a relationship together.
Our key tool is The Ulteem Test - 90 questions that are focussed without being intrusive or judgmental. From your Ulteem Test answers, we produce a 25-page assessment of your character, plus a personalised MatchList of members who are strongly compatible with you because their personalities are similar or complementary.

The Ulteem Test
Working together, Ulteem and AssessFirst have put together a unique and highly-effective test. It's based on the highest testing standards, as laid down by the American Psychological Association and the Educational Testing Service; two American institutions that dictate the conception and the validation of the assessment criteria used.
The test's aim is not only to analyse your personality, but also to select which members should be on your MatchList.
The test contains almost 100 questions, covering 71 psychological factors, that examine your basic values; analyse your outlook on key elements such as love, money and family life; and explore your personality.
Your Ulteem Test results
Once we've got your Ulteem Test answers, we then create a detailed psychological profile based on three key areas.
- Your values - your deepest held and permanent beliefs.
- Your outlook - the way you view relationships, family and other aspects of life.
- Your personality - the characteristics that make you who you are.
Then you not only receive your own profile, you also get to look at the profiles of other Ulteem members who are compatible with you.
The Double-Matching Method
Once you've completed the Ulteem Test, we match your profile and your partner specification to the profiles of all the Ulteem members who seem to be compatible with you
We call this double-matching because the Ulteem Test not only tells us about you, it also tells us about what you are looking for in a partner. Armed with these two sets of information, we can be even more effective and accurate in finding someone.
Quite simply, the double-matching method means that we can pinpoint which couples are going to be compatible. We identify the right sort of potential partner for you, so that you have the best chance of finding someone special and creating a lasting relationship.
Privacy and safety first
On Ulteem, all your private information stays that way - we keep everything confidential.
Your unique Ulteem member name is yours alone and it lets you communicate with other members without their knowing who you are.
Plus, all our profiles - that is everyone's personal ad, photo and video - are checked and approved by our dedicated moderation team before being published on Ulteem. We also offer a service that lets members have certain information - name, age, nationality and marital status - certified, so that everyone knows that their profile is genuine and has been written in good faith. Having information approved allows members to show their commitment to Ulteem by providing additional proof that their profile is genuine. Stars are displayed to show that we have approved the information - private details (such as your actual name) are not revealed.

Taking the Ulteem test and receiving your detailed personal report based on the results is also free. Once you have completed the test, Ulteem will produce a list of members who are rated at least 65% compatible with you (your soulmates), with a detailed compatibility report for each person listed. You can send messages to these or any other members for free.
If you want to be able to reply to messages from other Ulteem members and get the best chances of meeting your soulmate, you can choose between subscription offers of 3, 6 or 12 months.
